Die Cleveland Cavaliers sind nach zwei Niederlagen in der NBA in die Erfolgsspur zurückgekehrt.

LeBron James führte sein Team mit 28 Punkten, 13 Rebounds und elf Assists zum 129:107-Sieg bei den Phoenix Suns (Tabelle der NBA).

Es war James' 14. Triple-Double der Saison - eine neue Karrierebestleistung für den 33 Jahre alten Superstar. "Ich bin wie ein guter Wein, ich werde besser, je älter ich werde", erklärte "King James" anschließend.

Auf die Frage, ob das schnellere Spieltempo in der Liga für seine Statistiken mitverantwortlich sei, da es dadurch mehr Angriffe gäbe, reagierte James harsch. "Mehr Ballbesitze? So ein Quatsch!", sagte James, der mit 15 Freiwurfversuchen eine neue Saisonbestmarke aufstellte: "Ich werde mit dem Alter besser."
